Steps to Complete
Bachelor & Advanced Degree Projects

  1. Interview some internal customers to find out what is working/not working for them. You can also review documented customer complaints to establish a need for an improvement. Based on what you find out, and on your own ideas and interests, develop a project proposal.
  2. Write your project proposal to include:
    1. Name(s) of internal customer(s)
    2. The compelling reasons and vision for the outcome of the project
    3. Brief description of how you will implement the project and how it will be used regularly
    4. Explanation of how you will measure the project’s success and how it will positively affect one or more of the bottom lines
    5. Estimated completion date for the project (should be no longer that 3 months from the approval of proposal to final evaluation)
    6. A signed statement from your customer(s) that they approve this project and agree that it will improve one or more of the bottom lines for their work/job/department
  3. Gain the approval of your manager, managing partner and the Training Engineers.
  4. After the project has been completed, get written feedback from your customer(s) assessing the success of the project. HR would be happy to help you design a survey to do this.
  5. Write a brief evaluation of the project from your perspective (what went as planned, what did you have to change, etc.). Your evaluation should include YOUR assessment of the project, as well as your customer’s. Submit the report to the Training Engineers for approval.
